What are the benefits of telehealth ABA Therapy?
According to CASP (Council fore Autism Service Providers), Telehealth ABA Therapy's benefits include:

Increased Access to Care: Many families may face significant delays in accessing services due to location, economic factors, cultural, and social differences. Telehealth can reduce these barriers.

-
Provider Burnout: Provider burnout and turnover are significant issues for our healthcare system, particularly in home based models. Reducing travel time may improve provider well being and reduce changes in providers for families.

-
Continuity of Care: through telehealth providers can ensure treatment consistency during times of transition and changes in schedule

-
Improved Coordination of Care: Telehealth services can improve coordination across specialists, such as Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and School personnel

-
Cost and Effectiveness: Telehealth may achieve similar outcomes more efficiently than in person services. One recent study indicated that a telehealth parent coaching model achieved similar outcomes in half the time of in person model.
